On way home from school Li Hua and I had a unique experience yesterday. Ten minutes after
we left school yesterday afternoon we saw a little boy fall off his bicycle and hurt himself
heavily.Fortunately the body was hurt only on his right leg and he didn’t lose his conscious.
We called a taxi and rushed him to a nearby hospital.
While the orthopaedic doctors examined his hurt leg we made a call to the boy's
father, whose number we got from the boy. We told him what happened and where
we were at the moment and told him the hurt was not that serious and the
doctors are examining his leg at the moment. Half an hour later a middle aged
man and a similar aged woman appeared at the door of ICU. They were the parents
of the boy. When they met Li Hua and me, they expressed their sincere thanks to
us, gave us 200 each which we declined. Then they insisted paying us back the
taxi fee and suggested we go home otherwise our parents would worry about us.
We quickly thanked the doctors and said good bye to the little boy and his
parents before left the hospital. We did what we should do and we wish everyone
